Danny Ray Moore

Danny Ray Moore passed away on August 30th, 2023. During the Illumination of the Super Blue Moon. He was 66 years of age.

He was born March 5th, 1957 in Nashville, TN, to parents Charles Lewis and Billie Faye Moore. He was raised in Nashville and received his education there.

Danny started his work career learning welding from his father. He helped establish the family business known as Moore Welding Services. He also spent time in the construction field, building infrastructure in and around Nashville. In time, Danny became a truck driver, which he eventually retired from after 17 years of service. During that time, he drove over 2 million miles. Driving to 48 states and parts of Canada and Mexico. He always favored the south-east the most. Florida was his favorite state.

In his leisure time, Danny loved spending time with his friends. He was a great storyteller and could strike up a conversation with anyone. His other enjoyments included visiting Florida, riding his motorcycle and driving his sports car.

Danny was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Lewis and Billie Faye Moore; brother, Tommy Moore.

He leaves to treasure his memory: sons, Michael Moore and Christopher Moore; daughters, Christie and Laney; and grandson, Zaelynn Moore (papaws little buddy).

The family will receive friends on Monday, September 18, 2023 from 9AM - 11AM with Funeral Service to begin at 11AM from the chapel of Madison Funeral Home, 219 E. Old Hickory Blvd., Madison, TN 37115. Interment will be held at 2:30 PM at the Rowland Hills Cemetery, 20 Old Shipping Barn Rd., Fayetteville, TN 37334.
