Dennis Bruce Payne

Dennis Payne passed away on April 8, 2021 due to complications with his heart. A Memorial Service for Dennis Payne will be held on Wednesday, April 28, 2021, at Texas Troubadour Theater on Music Valley Drive, Nashville, TN. from 4 PM - 7 PM. Musicians who worked with him will join together to play music and share memories after his service at 4 PM. He is preceded in death by his mother, Thelma Deana Perrette; Father, (Light Crust Doughboy) Charles Bruce Payne; niece, Jamie Claxton; nephew, Matthew Perrette; several cousins, and all his aunts and uncles. Dennis leaves his daughter, Tracy Payne Black and husband Teal; daughter, DeElla Ann Ray, and granddaughters, Gabrielle Ray and Sierra Ray; sisters, Lori Claxton and Lisa Perrette; brothers Timothy and Joel Perrette; niece Sarah, grandniece, Mariah, nephews Timothy Jr., Bubba, Nick, Travis, Joseph, John, and Jeremy; grandnephew, Sam, and several cousins.
