Freda Mae Johnson

Freda Mae Johnson of Nashville, TN passed away Monday, August 31, 2015; she was 90. Preceded in death by her husband, Carmel Lee Johnson, Sr.; sisters, Mary Francis Gillespie and Vada Marie Keeney; brothers, Thomas H. Cole and Jerry Allen Cole. Mrs. Johnson is survived by her children, Jeanette (Norman) Callis of Hendersonville, TN, Diane (Gene) Watson of Smyrna, TN and Carmel Lee (Melissa) Johnson, II of Nashville, TN; grandchildren, Taylor Callis, Brianna Callis, Carmel Lee Johnson, III, Tristan Johnson and Krista Watson; sister, Bertha Delphine (Cecil) Chaffen; brother in law, Don Keeney. Mrs. Johnson was a member of Nashville First Church of the Nazarene. The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 5, 2015 from 12 noon to 3pm in the Chapel of Madison Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery at 3:30pm with Bro. Jack Galloway officiating.
