James Gilbert (Jimmy) passed away peacefully in his home on August 24, 2023. He was born
on October 29, 1935, to his parents, Robert and Frances Gilbert, who preceded him in death,
along with his sister Joan Smith, brother Robert (Bobby) Gilbert, and his daughter Anita
Moñino. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Dorothy (Dot) Gilbert; his sons James (Al)
Gilbert, Jr. and George (Joe) Gilbert; his daughter Linda Morris and her husband Bobby; his
son-in-law Fabian Moñino; his grandchildren Carlos Moñino, Edith Torr and her husband Bill,
James Gilbert III and his wife Sarah, Leslie Hertzog and her husband Werner, Robert (Bobby)
Morris Jr. and his wife Jamie, Brandon Morris, Tabatha Morris, and Amanda Preston; as well as
his great-grandchildren Natalie, Nathan, and Noah Hertzog, and Leopold and Oliver Torr. A
family remembrance will be announced at a later date and time.
