HURT, Joseph Bryant, age 58, passed away August 1, 2013. He is preceded in death by father, Hollis B. Hurt. He is survived by loving wife of 25 years Linda Hurt; son, Emerson; daughter, Brandy Noel; mother, Joyce Estes Thompson; sister, Starr (Michael) Durham; brothers, Jeff (Gayle) Hurt, Keith (Allison) Hurt; granddaughter, Laci; sister-n-law, Donna Brooks; and not to leave out (man's best friend), Endo; along with a host of other family members. Visitation with the family will be in the Chapel of Madison Funeral Home August 10, 2013 from 1 to 2 p.m. with a Celebration of life to follow at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to American Cancer Society.
