BURCH, Lyndal Ann Derryberry, age 75 of Old Hickory, TN, passed away September 3, 2014. She is preceded in death by husband, Charles Luther Burch; parents, Newton D. and Ruby Carpenter Derryberry. Survived by daughters, Tarina (Robert III) Brown, Charina (Jack) Sutphin; brother, Newton (Leah) Derryberry; sisters, Pearl Smith, Gayle (Joe) Garrison; grandchildren, Shanna (Michael) Joseph, Robert (Amanda) Brown IV, Aislinn (Zachary) Tooley, Spencer (Alaina) Sutphin, Ariel (Bobby) Clift; seven great - grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; several devoted friends. Mrs. Burch graduated from Dupont High School. She was a member of Old Hickory Church of Christ. As a military wife, she lived in several states, Okinawa and England . She was proud to have worked for OTS, CINCPAC (Military Support Services) and Base Commander Secretary. She retired from the IRS as a Revenue Officer serving in the Nashville office. She loved to travel and saw many countries. Mrs. Burch was active in Women's Clubs, Hermitage Association, Political organizations, and Windlands. She had a lively sense of humor that could make anyone laugh and smile. Visitation with the family will be held in the Chapel of Madison Funeral Home Saturday, September 6, 2014 from 10 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 12 noon with Bro. Don Loftis officiating.
