Ricky Davenport

Ricky Stanton Davenport, age 60 passed away suddenly on March 16, 2015. Ricky was an avid Nascar fan. He loved laughter and telling jokes, a real comedian. He enjoyed doing automotive work and was a great handiman. He loved carpentry, was great at it and it showed in his work. He would do anything for anyone and give you the shirt of his back. Born to the late Lester Amos and Martha Mazelle Davenport. Also preceded in death by siblings, Debra O'Saile, Gwen Ray and Jo Gray. Survived by wife,Leslie Machelle Garrett Davenport; children, Katrina, Lakisha, Savanna, Donnie Davenport and Chris Fink; 7 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter; siblings, Wilma Jones, Ruby Smith, Hansel Davenport, Willie (Elaine) Davenport, Shirley Rainey, Eva Gray, Bobbie Castleman; best friend Robert Allen Baker; many other family members and close friends. The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 22 2-4 pm with a Memorial Service to follow at 4 at Madison Funeral Home.
